Misconception of an Aussie

There's a common misconception that if you don't consistently run or exercise an Australian Shepherd, they'll become destructive, misbehaved, and unsatisfied. I find this notion to be misguided. Aussies can easily adapt to the lifestyle you provide. They require rules, boundaries, discipline, and guidelines to meet the expectations of a human-run society. While they are undoubtedly exceptional athletes capable of remarkable physical achievements, they don't need to be exercised like mindless robots to be balanced and well-mannered. I consider them one of the most adaptable breeds. Please don't assume that constant exercise is what they need to be truly happy. They are well-suited to active individuals, but what they truly need is dedicated people.
